In order to confirm efficiency on quick set-up and low waste, CODIMAG has committed to keyless anilox offset, ANIFLO, a new technology proven on sheet-fed presses.
Based on 4 cylinders of equal size, ANIFLO inking allows maintaining offset quality on a print unit where inertia is reduced to minimum. An anilox roller delivers a constant ink layer to the form rubber roller, which is transferred to the plate and from the plate to the blanket.

Main advantages of ANIFLO inking
  • no inking rubber rollers, which are sensitive to UV inks and solvents and needs to be adjusted periodically.
  • with ANIFLO, form roller and blanket cylinders are equipped with a rubber blanket, which can be easily changed and form roller pressure to the plate is set with bearers in order to guarantee inking precision and stability.
  • ANIFLO is a keyless inking system. There is no more need to adjust ink keys, as ink layer is controlled by the anilox roll. Temperature settings on the anilox and blanket will modify ink viscosity to allow a density adjustment to the customer's needs.
  • better reactivity and less wastage, thanks to quick color adjustments, made possible through the elimination of the numerous transfer rollers and a very low thermal inertia in the temperature regulation system.
  • no more ghosting as all cylinders have the same size

Plate preparation

For analogue plates, exposure and wash out methods are the same as wet offset, except for the wash out chemistry.
A plate bender allow precise bend on each plate for accurate register and square position on the press.
Plates are mounted within a few seconds on the press itself.

Blanket adjustment

Thanks to an innovative solution, it is possible to print all repeat with the same blanket. The blanket length is adjusted on the press according to a graduated scale printed on the blanket.
